We didn’t adorn VIDO with invented tales of “family craftsmanship heritage” or “overseas origins.” This brand didn’t start with a fancy narrative—just a down-to-earth thought from daily life: “If only this tool worked better.” We’ve witnessed far too many exasperating designs. Take, for example, the 30 - button remote that engineers deem “fully - featured,” yet older family members struggle for ages just to locate the power button. Or the “professional” power tools that leave your hands sore after prolonged use and come with manuals so complex that beginners are left scratching their heads. Tools are meant to solve problems, not the other way around. That’s why, from the very beginning, VIDO has adhered to a single, unwavering standard: if our own family and friends can’t use the tools with ease, confidence, and without undue effort, then it’s a failure—and we won’t foist such failures on those who place their trust in us.
To achieve this “user - friendliness,” we dedicate 99% of our energy to empathy. We put ourselves in the users' shoes, considering whether the grip might cause discomfort, whether a novice can quickly get the hang of using the tool, and whether ordinary buyers will feel the product isgood value for money. We don’t follow the well - trodden path, even if it means venturing into uncharted territory, because we know that half - hearted efforts like simply changing the shell or piecing together components may seem like shortcuts, but in reality, they betray the expectations of our users and our original mission.
From the design sketch to mass production, it’s been a relentless battle against “making do.” Along the way, we’ve faced countless rejections. Suppliers have told us, “This approach will drive up costs,” or “Everyone else does it this way; don’t be so picky.” We’ve been rejected hundreds of times. Initially, we felt disheartened, but gradually, we realized that these rejections were actually wake - up calls. They were reminders that our refusal to settle for mediocrity is what led to these obstacles. But we stand firm in our belief: we will only produce tools thatare truly functional and durable, and we will never compromise user experience for the sake of cost reduction. Some may call us stubborn, but we see it as a steadfast commitment to propel “Made in China” towards “Made for the World.” Refusing to compromise is how we stay true to our initial aspirations. We don’t believe in creating a “brand story” through mere words. Instead, we trust that good quality will win us true friends.
In fact, VIDO doesn’t have a pre - packaged “brand story”—we’ve handed the storytelling pen to time and to you. When you pick up our tools and can use them effortlessly without referring to the manual; when, after years of use, you still enthusiastically recommend them to friends—these genuine moments are the real brand story of VIDO. Our mission is to maintain this “authenticity and reliability” and, over time, become the “old friend” you can always count on.
